Movies and TV series
Your import brings your provider’s movie and series catalog along with your channels. You don’t curate it — two switches decide whether it ships, and your player does the browsing.

When you import from a provider, live channels are only part of what arrives. Most providers also carry a movie catalog and a TV-series catalog — often tens of thousands of titles. EPGMaster brings them in, and then deliberately gets out of the way.
The Movies tab is a count, not a library
Open a playlist in the editor and you’ll see three tabs: Live TV, Movies and TV Series, each with its own count. Click Movies and there is no list, no poster wall, and nothing to tick — just the number of movies available and the words wholesale pass-through.
That’s deliberate. Curating fifty thousand movies by hand is not a job anyone wants, and your player already does it well: TiviMate, Smarters, Emby and the rest have their own VOD browsers with search, artwork and resume. Our job is to hand them the catalog, not to rebuild Netflix inside a playlist editor.
Two switches decide what ships
In the editor header, Include movies and Include TV series control whether that catalog rides along with the playlist. They are per playlist, so one playlist can carry everything while another stays live-channels-only. On a source library the same two switches read Import movies and Import TV series— one level up, controlling what gets pulled from your provider in the first place.
One difference worth knowing: movies travel in the M3U feed, while TV series currently reach your player over the Xtream Codes login rather than the playlist file.
If you use a media server, switch them off
This is the important part. Plex, Emby, Jellyfin and Channels DVR read every line of a playlist as a channel. Point one of them at a feed that includes a movie catalog and it will dutifully try to create tens of thousands of TV channels, and the guide refresh will never finish.
The fix takes one click: switch Include movies off before you connect. Your live channel count stays exactly where it was, and the tab simply disappears from the editor. If you use a player with a proper VOD section instead, leave them on and enjoy the catalog.
